Day 241-242 from Eswatini to Nata
Nata, Botswana
Gaborone marked an important milestone with an official visit to a local VW importer. Representatives from the German Embassy, the Ministry of International Relations, and Botswana Power Corporation were also present. The exchange underlined the growing relevance of sustainable mobility and the value of international cooperation within the region.
Later in the afternoon, the route led past the Tropic of Capricorn and through several traffic checkpoints toward Palapye and Francistown, where 40 kW charging stations enabled continued progress. This stage once again highlighted the importance of dependable charging infrastructure across vast and remote territories.
The journey concluded in Nata, close to the border of the renowned Hwange National Park. Anticipation was high for the following day’s safari experience and the wildlife encounters awaiting ahead.
