Early in the morning, the VW ID. Buzz was charged in Kigali at a 60 kW charging station before continuing on to Volkswagen. Along the way, city traffic was dominated by countless motorcycles, with around half of them already operating with electric motors.
Around midday, a meeting took place with the Ambassador of Rwanda. This was followed by a special moment in the city: together with five VW ID. Buzz vehicles, a small convoy drove through Kigali, creating the opportunity to capture photographs along the route.
In Kigali, even airport shuttle services are operated using the VW ID. Buzz, underlining the city’s strong commitment to modern and sustainable mobility.
