Day 259 from Voi to Mombasa, Kenia

On the route to Voi, zebras and elephants appeared once more along the roadside, offering a final and powerful encounter with Africa’s remarkable wildlife. In Voi, the VW ID. Buzz was charged for the last time on the African continent at a Kenya Power charging station.
The journey then continued toward Mombasa. Along the way, young herders repeatedly crossed the road with their cattle, a familiar scene that had accompanied many stages of the journey across the continent.
Upon arrival in Mombasa, the route led to Kühne + Nagel, where preparations for shipping the VW ID. Buzz were discussed and the next steps coordinated. With this, an extraordinary chapter came to a close, marking the final day of the tour in Africa.
