Day 16: Belgrade to Sarajevo
Morning Arrival in Serbia
The team crossed into Serbia early in the day, passing through quiet, mist-covered countryside on the way to Belgrade. Once in the capital, they met with the Giti Tyres Serbia team for a short but productive visit. In addition to sharing progress from the road, the team received help capturing video content and preparing the ID. Buzz for the next stage.
Crossing into Bosnia and Herzegovina
With a fully charged battery, the journey continued west. The road from Belgrade to Sarajevo crossed the border via river and moved into increasingly mountainous terrain. The landscape shifted quickly, offering a scenic route through valleys and forested hills.
Arrival in Sarajevo
In Sarajevo, the team visited the city’s largest Volkswagen dealership. A group of journalists and local partners were already on site, ready with questions and enthusiasm. The interest in the tour and the vehicle was strong, and the engagement reflected the region’s growing awareness of electric mobility.
The day concluded with a group dinner at a local restaurant, bringing together partners, media and the travelling crew. It was an opportunity to reflect on the day’s journey and connect over shared values and goals.
