At around 2:00 a.m., the VW ID. Buzz was charged in Kampala before the journey continued toward the Kenyan border. It was Sunday, which was clearly reflected in everyday life along the route, with many locals out in traditional clothing, bringing color and activity to villages and roadside scenes.
After crossing the border into Kenya, a short intermediate charging stop enabled the journey to continue toward Nairobi. The road led through expansive green tea plantations, stretching across gently rolling hills and defining the landscape of this stage.
