From Lisbon to Monaco – 24 Hours on the Road, Severe Weather and Two Country Stops

Day 12: Andorra

Crossing into Andorra

After departing Lisbon, the team began one of the most demanding stages of the European tour. The day’s route included two new countries, with the first stop in the principality of Andorra. Time was limited, but the team made a brief stop for a photo before continuing directly toward the next destination.

Storm Conditions in Spain

As the team travelled through the Barcelona region in the evening, they received a severe weather warning. Heavy rain and flooding were forecast — and soon experienced firsthand. A massive downpour reduced visibility and slowed the ID. Buzz to 30 km/h at times, making this one of the slowest stretches of the tour so far.

Despite the storm and long driving hours, the team continued east, focused on reaching the next milestone.

Next stop: Monte Carlo.
