Day 3: Stockholm, Sweden
A Morning Stop in Oslo
The team continued their journey into Oslo, Norway, where they were welcomed by the local team at Volkswagen Norway. Despite the rain, the atmosphere was positive and productive, with time set aside to capture photos and discuss the upcoming stages of the tour. Special thanks to Torkel for the warm welcome and support.
Crossing Back into Sweden
Soon after leaving Oslo, the team re-entered Sweden and began a six-hour drive through quiet countryside. As the skies began to clear in the afternoon, the team made the most of the changing conditions, stopping to photograph a distinctive hot rod and a classic Swedish-style house along the route.
Arrival in Stockholm
Once in Stockholm, the team met with Alexander from Volkswagen Stockholm. It was a fitting close to the Scandinavian mainland portion of the journey and a final chance to connect before moving east.
Boarding the Ferry to Finland
After the Stockholm visit, the team boarded the SILJA SYMPHONY ferry to begin the overnight crossing to Helsinki. The ship is expected to arrive in approximately 16 hours, marking the start of the next chapter in the world tour.
