Day 256 from Kigali to Kampala, Uganda

At around 4:00 a.m., the journey continued toward Uganda. By 6:00 a.m., the border was reached and crossed. Dense fog accompanied the drive through the mountainous landscape, creating a particularly atmospheric start to the day.
Along the roadside, small vegetable stalls appeared repeatedly, and at one point a goat was being slaughtered directly beside the road, offering a candid glimpse into everyday life along the route.
Gradually, the terrain flattened and opened into wider landscapes. A charging stop provided the opportunity to recharge the VW ID. Buzz before continuing onward.
Late in the evening, Kampala was finally reached.
