Rural Road Safety Month

Join us in making a difference during Rural Road Safety Month! This campaign urges action for safer roads in rural areas. Rural crashes account for over 65% of Australia’s road toll. Let’s unite for road safety—pledge to #ChooseRoadSafety and spread the word. Your involvement can save lives!

Rural Road Safety Month is a national awareness campaign targeting regional and rural road safety.

It’s a chance for all of us to be involved in making the roads safer. There are many ways to get involved and Choose Road Safety, from changing an in-car behaviour to hosting an event in your local community.

We encourage local road safety advocates, communities, schools, sporting groups and workplaces to support the month by hosting local events or sharing road safety information among staff, students, colleagues, family and friends.  Make a pledge to #Choose Road Safety.
