Day 92 – 94: Thailand South
The journey continued south from Bangkok toward the Malaysian border. For the first time on the tour, the route followed the coastline, offering expansive views of beaches, calm surf, and lively fishing communities. The sea, ever-present on the left, set a tranquil rhythm to the drive.
Life by the Water – Boats and Temples
Traditional wooden boats dominated the harbours, their curved bows painted in vivid colours and pointed toward the horizon. These local vessels added a cultural richness to the journey, each port offering a unique glimpse into Thailand’s coastal identity.
Temples along the way became natural stopping points. Their golden spires, intricate statues, and serene grounds invited moments of pause. The ID. Buzz was frequently photographed beside these striking monuments—each pairing telling its own story of modern travel meeting timeless tradition.
Toward the Border – A Farewell to Thailand
As dusk approached, the road led to the border with Malaysia. Thailand left a lasting impression, not only for its infrastructure and natural beauty, but also for the warmth and openness encountered throughout the region.
