Through Everyday Life in Tanzania – Heading for Iringa

Day 250 from Mbeya to Iringa

Iringa, Tansania

The day began with scenes of everyday life along the roadside, where fresh fish was being sold and bricks were being made directly beside the road from clay and mud. These moments offered a close look at daily routines along the route.

Numerous motorcycles, often heavily loaded, accompanied the journey. After a short charging stop and refilling the tire pressure, the drive continued through the Tanzanian countryside.

Several herds of cattle crossed the road before a tour bus carrying European travelers appeared, creating a brief moment of international encounter on an otherwise very local route.

Late in the evening, Iringa was reached. A final charging stop brought the day to a close.

Next stop: Iringa Tansania!
