Day 247 from Kapiri Mposhito to Mpika
Mpika, Zambia
Overnight, heavy rain had fallen, leaving the roads muddy and challenging conditions the following morning. On the drive toward Mpika, numerous roadside vendors lined the route, offering colorful mushrooms alongside fresh fruits and vegetables.
After a short charging stop, the journey continued toward Tanzania. Road conditions deteriorated steadily, with deep potholes and broken-down trucks shaping this demanding stage and requiring constant focus behind the wheel.
By evening, Mpika was finally reached, where charging was once again made possible. The team from ZESCO provided quick and efficient support, allowing the charging process to be completed smoothly after a long and demanding day on the road.
